After a brief introduction and overview of the new ecosystem in the healthcare sector, speakers Alexander Morton and Jan Oswald from Deloitte presented the current status of the degree of digitalization in the German healthcare\/hospital sector, also in an international comparison. The prerequisites, but also the limits and opportunities for further digitalization in the German healthcare sector were discussed and the topic of &#8220;interoperability&#8221; in particular was highlighted.
