In May, the IT M&A working group met in Munich in a new format: In cooperation with the Federal Association of Mergers & Acquisitions, the Technical University of Nuremberg Georg Simon Ohm and DATAGROUP, the working group is conducting a study on the topic of “Changes in M&A through digitalization”.<\/p>\n

The first steps were already taken during the last working group. The rough concept of the study topic was discussed from various perspectives and the questionnaire was defined. The technical implementation of the online questionnaire and the evaluation of the content will be carried out by Nuremberg Institute of Technology. <\/p>\n

The aim of the study is to determine the current influence of digitalization on M&A. It also aims to identify potential development trends over the next three years. The target group to be surveyed in this context consists of corporates, investors and service providers. The survey is expected to start in July, with the final study results planned for September\/October 2018. <\/p>\n

From July, you will find further information on the study and access to the online survey at www.datagroup.de. We cordially invite all M&A experts to actively participate and thus contribute to the results. <\/p>\n
