In less than two weeks, the BM&A Mittelstandstag for entrepreneurs will take place in Baierbrunn on the premises of Wort & Bild Verlag.
In order to shorten the waiting time, we are already presenting two thematic blocks of the event.
After a welcome from the host and a presentation of the BM&A Mittelstandsinitiative by its spokesperson Jan Pörschmann, the first set of topics dealt with cooperation and partnership models for developing new business activities.
First, Prof. Dr. Florian Bauer from the University of Bristol Business School will present the approach and results of the major SME study M&A 2023. He then discusses the results of the study in the area of partnership models.
This is followed by the Fotofinder case study entitled “M&A gets under your skin”. Using this best practice example, Martin Kanatschnig from association member AQUIN and Andreas Mayer, CEO of FotoFinder Systems GmbH, explain how M&A was used as an instrument for a partnership model.
The first block of topics will be rounded off by the panel “Which cooperation and partnership models suit my company?” In the panel led by BM&A members Karl-Christian Bay from BAY GmbH Wirtschaftsprüfungsgesellschaft Rechtsanwaltsgesellschaft and Dr. Nikolaus von Jacobs from Reed Smith LLP, Friedrich Wallwitz from Family Trust Investor FTI GmbH and other guests will discuss possible cooperation and partnership models that are currently increasingly being used in the SME sector.
Professor Clemens Fuest, President of the ifo Institute, will then give his keynote speech on the German business model.
Another topic of the entrepreneur event is forms of financing for M&A transactions.
First, Peter Pauli, spokesman for the management of BayBG, will introduce the topic of forms of financing for company acquisitions.
Prof. Dr. Florian Bauer from the University of Bristol Business School will then present the results of the M&A 2023 SME study on forms of financing.
In the panel “Which form of financing suits my company?”, Federal Association member Rainer Wieser from Proventis Partners GmbH will then discuss the various forms of financing and their effects in practice with experts Peter Pauli from BayBG, Tom Jordi Ruesch from GeTraNet and Gabriel Markowski from LebenPlus Pflegeverbund GmbH.
