On 26 October, Dr Philipp Schultes, head of the Due Diligence & Legal working group, organized a hybrid event on the topic of AI in law with a view to M&A. Participants had the opportunity to meet online or in compliance with the 2G rule at the offices of ZIRNGIBL Rechtsanwälte Partnerschaft mbB in Munich and listen to keynote speaker Privatdozent Dr. Martin Fries from Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München.
It was an inspiring presentation with many examples of AI in the legal context, taking into account current case law. Afterwards, the participants were able to discuss what they had heard with the speaker over a small snack.
