His work has been published in leading journals and he has received several awards, including the British Academy of Management Medal. As the founder of MADiscover GmbH, he is driving the digitalization of target screening processes. Bauer is a founding member of the European M&A Institute and co-editor of the M&A Review. He promotes the exchange between science and practice and actively supports companies in acquisitions.
